The Incident happened nearly 20 years ago.

An event that rocked the psychic world, where wizards, jealous of the innate ability of psychics, or “sorcerers” as some cultures call them, had captured a number of psychics to attempt to steal their powers for themselves.

The Incident changed a number of things around the Psychic and Sorcerer Institute. PSI heads shifting positions or outright going missing. Founders no longer able to work the jobs they signed up for. A community of psychics, young and old, fearing that the Incident may happen again...

Agent Vy Reiter joined PSI not long after the Incident. And now, nearly 20 years later, he stands in front of a loose thread that has long since unraveled the tapestry it was meant to uphold.

Roman Queens, presumed dead, cryonically frozen in a tube in some facility tied to the Incident. Maybe meant for study later, before being abandoned up until someone decided to make a base of operations here. Guarded by someone, shaking as he points a gun at Vy, not magic or psychic but scared.
